EVGA Company determined the name for the motherboard, equipped with two processor LGA 1366. The product, oriented to computer enthusiasts, was known under the code name w555: EVGA classified SR -2. Reduction SR .  Base for Classified SR -2 became the platform tylersburg. This motherboard supports the installation of two processors with QPI bus (for example, 2P Xeon). Important difference from the majority of server motherboard is the possibility of simultaneous use of two different xeon models. Certainly, when they are based on one and the same architecture and relate to one series. For example, it is possible to install in one socket the processor xeon 5520, and in the second 5540. It is possible even to combine four core and six-core processors, when the four core model has westmere architecture (32 nm), but not Nehalem (45 nm). Configurations with one 2P- compatible microprocessor is permitted. DDR3 memory modules can support ECC. The multipliers of 2P Xeon DRAM multipliers/uncore multipliers are locked, so it is possible to use only 2:8 or 2:10 values, depending on the processor. According to EVGA, the motherboard supports multiprocessor graphic systems 4- way SLI, 3d- card GTX 285 Classified VGA.
