On CES 2010 exhibition in the beginning of January Intel company already demonstrated the technology of wireless video transfer with 720p resolution. Notebook on base of Intel processor converted video and transferred it in the interface wi-Fi 802.11n to the special receiver, which was connected to the television set through the HDMI port .
Last week Intel representatives stated that all devices on base of Intel processors can transfer video by wireless interface. The wi-Di technology will be supported by a wide spectrum of devices: from palmtops and netbook to the plane-table computers and desktop systems.
At present wi-Di technology will begin to operate the computational resources of processors core i3, Core i5 or Core i7. notebooks with the support of wireless video transfer soon will appear on the market of China and Europe. Gradually concept will be improved. It will be reduced and the delay between the video production on the device itself and television set - now it reaches half of second.
