The development of mobile multimedia device segment requires the use of compact and capacious solid-state memory microcircuits. Toshiba company stated about the new successes in this sphere, after presenting the microcircuits of built in memory with 128 Gb volume, which correspond to e-MMC specifications. Microcircuits will be used in cell phones, plane-table computers and digital cameras. The microcircuit's models declared capacity will begin to be supplied during September, and mass production will be fixed in the fourth quarter 2010.
In the case with 17 X of 22 X 1,4 mm size are placed sixteen memory crystals with 8 Gb volume and controllers. With the production of memory microcircuits the technical process used is 32 nm. The transmission speed begins from 21 Mbyte(s)/s for writing operations, and from 46 Mbyte(s)/s for reading operations.
During August Toshiba also will supply analogous memory microcircuits with 64 Gb volume. Related Products :
