OCZ technology company yesterday presented two series of compact solid-state disk in the form factor 1.8 inches.  SSD series vertex 2 are proposed in models with 60 Gb, 120 Gb and 240 Gb volume. They ensure the transmission speed up to 285 Mbyte(s)/s on reading operations, and up to 275 Mbyte(s)/s on writing operations. The energy consumption level does not exceed 2 W.  SSD series onyx is equipped with 64 mb cache and with indilinx controllers, they are released in models with 32 Gb and 64 Gb volume. The transmission speed on reading operations for elder model reaches 145 Mbyte(s)/s, on writing operations it is equal to 120 Mbyte(s)/s. The cheaper SSD with 32 Gb volume reduces these indices to 135 Mbyte(s)/s and 70 Mbyte(s)/s respectively. Related Products : | ||
