Acer company presented the thin monitors S1 series. Some details about the new monitor appeared today. First all displays will be exported in USA; however, soon they will appear also in other countries. The presented monitors are orientsed to multimedia systems, and they will be equally good both for contemporary gaming applications and for typical computer objectives, like Internet surf or text. Light-emitting diode elements are used in all models for the illumination of the matrix, this considerably reduces energy consumption (in comparison with other monitors) and case thickness.
At the given moment S1 is presented by 20- inch S201HL, 21.5- inch S211HL and 23- inch S231HL. All three models have a black case. Contrast is located on the level 12,000,000:1, the response time does not exceed 5 ms, the maximum brightness 250 cd/m2. For connection to the video card are present the interfaces D -Sub and DVI. S211HL and S231HL full HD and S231HL there is even a HDMI- connector. Maximum resolution of S201HL is 1600 x 900 pixel. If we speak about the prices, - for S201HL, S211HL and S231HL : $170, $220 and $270 respectively. | ||
