In the beginning of next year Intel will release the first processors sandy bridge. They will be intended for PC mass segment. Computer enthusiasts and other users systems upper segment will obtain the processors sandy bridge E and the chipset Intel x68 later.
Chipset Intel x68 is the part of patsburg platform, in which will be used the processor socket LGA 2011 and processors sandy bridge E . Processors will obtain the four-channel DDR3 memory controller, but they will not have the built-in graphic core. The equipped with 40 interface lines PCI express 3.0 processors are oriented to application in work stations and other highly productive systems. The processors sandy bridge E are already almost ready.  The planned release date of Intel x68 and Sandy bridge E is the fourth quarter 2011. This means that the processor socket LGA 1366, which appeared in 2008, will not leave approximately for one year. Related Products : | ||
