AMD Company today declared about the expansion of its server processors opteron 6100 (with the code name magny-Cours) five new models, eighth core 6132 HE (Highly efficient) and 6140 and 12- core 6166 HE, 6176 and 6180 SE (Special edition). All these chips are produced on 45-nm technology, they are compatible with Socket g34 systems, equipped with four channels hyperTransport 3.0, and also with integrated memories controller with the support to the four-channel memory standard DDR3.
