AMD has updated its line of Opteron processors, adding to the existing models 3365 CPU. The device refers to Piledriver generation and is designed for single-processor workstations and small servers. The new chip is a step below the existing 3380, with its eight cores, 8 MB cache in the third level, functioning at a frequency of 2.3 GHz and being characterized by TDP 65 watts.
