The corporation Seagate reported the beginning of deliveries for the 2,5 inch hard disks : savvio 10K.2, equipped with interface serial attached SCSI (SAS) and intended for installation in data storage systems and servers.  Seagate savvio 10K.2 ensure the failure time of about 1,6 mln hours , as announced a month ago in savvio 15K, the rotation speed in these disk, which present the second generation of solutions for data storage systems , composes 10 .000 RP./min, with the capacities of 146Gb. The energy consumption of hard disks is reduced in comparison with the first generation by 15%.
