Seagate company declared about the fast production of new hard disks savvio 15K.2, fastest HDD, accessible on the market . The newly presented model 73 and 146GB are equipped with interface SAS 2.0 (6 Gbit/s).
Producer positions this HDD for servers RAID : low access time (2,9 ms vs 3,3 ms in the previous generation ).  The hard disk work @ 15000 rp/min. According to seagate, the technology powerTrim decrease the energy consumption by up to 70% in comparison with 3,5- inches HDD with the same rotation speed.
