At the moment when we published information about ASUS a8Jr - first notebook with GPU ATI mobility radeon x2300 we had no information about the power this new mobile GPU . Today we got new information about ATI x2300 mobility GPU and data about its performance , using the same notebook : a8Jr. The mobile version of graphic chip is completed by four memory chips with a total volume of 128 mb., which has 64- bit system bus. Thus, test platform (A8Jr) was : Intel core2 duo t5200, 2 Gb memory, chipsets 945PM. The next result are made with resolution 1024x768 : 3Dmark05: 1494 3Dmark06: 822 HL2: 14 FPS Doom3: 7,8 FPS Well as u can clearly see this X2300 Gpu is nothing more than x1300 ( again another renamed card from AMD ???) . in any case the performance are about the same .we hope that this was just driver issue and x2300 will show better performance ... ATI MOBILITY RADEON X2300 BENCHMARK

I have a laptop with the x2300 and these are my findings:   945 3dmarks for 3dmark06   Halflife 2 plays perfectly with 4xAA trilinear filtering at 1200x800 (widescreen) at an easily playable and steady 35+ fps. (shadows at max and reflect set to world).   Quake 4 runs fine (once OpenGL was installed fully under vista, it was difficult considering that the original driver didnt come with it...).   I play all my lan games on it and they all run fine, from CS source to.. well World of Warcraft.   I really approve of this video card, despite the seemingly terrible 3dmark score.

	Well , Really good for you :-) are u sure that u have the x2300 version. The x2300 is nothing more than x1300 (with some optimization).   In Notebook Sphere its considered as low end video card   Keep it Clear :-)

hi everyone, I have an asus f3jr laptop t5500 , 2g ram, and atix2300 with 128mb (256 hypermemory in win xp and up to 894 ram in windows vista...it\'s just the driver). well, in both versions of windows, i obtained 1000+ points in 3dmark 06, with 1280x800 resolution. in 1024x768 I obtained 1100+ points. so, I think it is better than the radeon x1400, maybe it is an x1450. so...I hope the guys from ati will make even better drivers... best regards. fubu_bv

	hi... u can find your driver needed here http://dlsvr01.asus.com/pub/ASUS/nb/..._XP_070129.zip but... don\'t run the \"setup\"! redirect to update, select the drive (last drive on list) and run the update. i think you be happy with this drive! try it!

	i have lg r400 and my graphic card is ati 2300 but my bit is only 32bit and my os is windows 7 so do i upgrade my 32bit to 64bit
