The mobile phone manufacturer, known under Sony Ericsson, completely become the property of Sony. This is the end of the ten-year history of coexistence of Japanese IT and Swedish Telefon AB LM Ericsson. Sony will have full control over production and development units of mobile phones.
After the deal, Ericsson will receive 1.5 billion euros over 50% of their business. Sony also has access to a joint product of the intellectual property, and five sets of patents for wireless communications technology.
