With a slight delay relative to other motherboard manufacturers, Biostar company also presented its solution based on Intel X79 chipset for processors Sandy Bridge-E.  The motherboard is equipped with a voltage regulator module , four slots for RAM, three PCI Express x16, a pair of PCI Express x1 and one PCI. The main feature that distinguishes TPower X79 from potential competitors, are six SATA connectors 6 Gb / s and only one SATA 3 Gb / sec. Also on I / O ports panel is dominated by USB 3.0 (including six) USB 2.0 ports, only two survived:  Unlike some other manufacturers, Biostar designers saw no need to use an active cooling system components, and limited to a small radiator, which is associated with a heat pipe radiator on VRM.
