Since the special functional update in p45 intel chipset are no many, many motherboard producers decided to develop the functionality of their products.
As reports associate, biostar company announced a new motherboard on base of chipsets intel fourth series. The top end model is TPower i45 on base of intel p45 chipset . Remaining motherboards TP45 HP, TP43 HP, TP45D 2 A7, TP43D 2nd A7 and P43-A7 are distinguished by chipset, functional possibilities and price.  The motherboard tPower i45 support processors LGA 775 with system bus frequency up to 1600 MHz and above, and it has also four DIMM slots ( DDR 2-1066 memory), which can be overclocked to DDR 2-1200. Two PCI express x16 ports support crossfire according to : x8 + x8. All PCI express slots on this motherboard correspond to the PCI express 2.0 specifications . Six SATA-300 ports are supplemented with two eSATA ports on the rear panel. The number of USB 2.0 ports can reach ten. The south bridge ICH10R support RAID 0, 1, 5, 10. In addition to a sound controller , gigabit network adapter. The power system is four-phase, only capacitors with solid-state polymeric electrolyte are used.  The most interesting, that Biostar promises the possibility to overclock the motherboard up to 630 MHz using 45 nm processor core 2 Duo e8500 (3.16 GHz).
