-8800 Ultra will be released somewhere in late April/early may and it is an high-end SKU. -GeForce 8800 Ultra will have a new cooling device albeit still air cooling.. -Currently nVIDIA has the 8800Ultra clocks at 650MHz Core/1800MHz Shader/2200MHz Memory(GDDR4).. BUT THESE ARE NOT THE FINAL 8800 Ultra CLOCKS!!! nVIDIA is currently aiming at 700MHz for the Core and 2000MHz(2.0GHz) for the Shaders and 2200MHz for the memory subsystems.. Since it is based on the same 90nm G80 core as the 8800GTX the 8800Ultra will have the same hardware configuration as the G80 GTX etc. 384-bit Memory Bus and 768MB GDDR4 memories and 128 stream processors... -8800Ultra will be released alongside the 8950GX2(based on two highly overclocked 8800GTS 640MB chips on one card) Price for the 8800Ultra will be 549USD and price for the 8950GX2 will be 649USD.... .................................................... AT THE SAME TIME (April/May) nVIDIA will be releasing additional members in the GeForce 8 family : 8600GTS,8600GT,8500GT,8400GS,8300GS. Currently the source is informing me that the specs for the midrange and entry-level GPUs would be as follows:   8600 GTS Spes & prices:(G84) midrange GPU. Unified Shader Architecture. 300 million transistors on TSMC 80nm process. 64 Stream Processors at 1.65GHz 32 TF/16 TA Core Clock at 675MHz Memory Clock at 2.0GHz (1ns) 128 bit Memory Bus 256MB-512MB GDDR4 Graphics Memories 32 GBs Memory Bandwidth price : 229USD for the 512MB version and 199USD for 256MB version.. pros: 8600GTS is 50% faster than a Radeon X1950 XTX 512MB in real world apps & video games.. Cons : narrow memory bus pros: amazing performance & best bang for the buck!!! Cons : narrow memory bus price : 169 USD .................................................... 8500 GT Specs (Cut down G84) Unified Shader Architecture. 48 Stream Processors at 1.20GHz Core : 470 MHz 128-bit memory bus.. 256MB GDDR3 performance : same as an 7900/7950 GT cons: no cons for its class... price 129 USD .................................................... 8400 GS (Cut-down G84) Specs 48 SPs at 1.0 GHz Core at 400MHz Memory at 1.20GHz 256MB GDDR3 performance: in the range of a  GeForce 7900GS Cons: No cons for its class. price: 99 USD ................................................... 8300 GS (G86) Specs Unified Shader Architecture. 32 Stream Processors at 1.0 GHz Core : 400MHz 128/256MB GDDR2 performance : in the range of a 7600 GT price: 79 USD ...................................................
