Intel has just introduced a 22-nanometer processors Intel Ivy Bridge and their chipsets under the symbol Panther Point, Today appeared some details about the next generation chipsets Intel Lynx Point, intended processor, code-named Haswell. As expected, the CPU and chipset Intel Haswell Lynx Point will be released in the first half 2013. Haswell processors will be released on 22-nanometer process technology. They are designed for installation in a new processor socket LGA1150 and work in conjunction with 8-series chipset (Lynx Point). The series will be led by top model Z87 which supports overclocking. The low end model is Z85. In general, Lynx Point chipset will have up to six ports USB 3.0, up to six SATA 6 Gb / s and support Rapid Storage Technology and Fast Boot technology. | ||
