As part of the original series Hi-Fi, the Taiwanese company Biostar introduced just three new Socket FM2-system boards based on the latest chipset AMD A85. As part of the series was shown high-end models Hi-Fi A85X, moderately cool model Hi-Fi A85W and entry-level Hi-Fi A85S. All new products have support for Hi-Fi amplifier analog integrated directly into the built-in sound card ALC898.
The high-end motherboard Hi-Fi A85X uses a 10-phase power system VRM, has four slots for RAM DDR3-2400 + (up to 32 GB), two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (for two at the same time - x8/x8), one PCI- Express 2.0 x16 (x4), three PCI-Express 2.0 x1 and one PCI slot. Also eight ports SATA 6 Gb / s (seven of them - internal one - eSATA), four USB 3.0 ports and Gigabit Ethernet adapter, and DVI, D-Sub, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. Also use AMI UEFI BIOS.
The mid-level Hi-Fi A85W uses 6-phase power system processor has four slots for RAM DDR3-2400 + (up to 32 GB), two slots PCI-Express x16, one is attached to the processor, optional PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (x4), eight ports SATA 6 Gb / s, four USB 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet adapter, and DVI, D-Sub and HDMI outputs.
