The French company Archos, well known in the market for its multimedia players and inexpensive tablet computers, plans already in the middle of next month to start selling its new 10-inch tablet PC model 101 XS. The device is based on the platform Texas Instruments OMAP 4470 with a 1.5 GHz dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 and built graphic chip PowerVR SGX544.
Archos 101 XS has a touch screen with a working resolution 1280 x 800 pixels, also 1 GB of RAM, 16-GB drive, a slot for memory cards format microSD (up to 64GB), a 1.3-megapixel camera, USB 2.0 and mini-HDMI ports, and battery capacity of 6800 mAh.
