The first chipsets with PCI express 2.0 support are : Intel x38 and AMD RD790. NVIDIA Company also prepared its chipsets with PCI express 2.0 support .

Associates are assured that chipset intel p35, which was announced some time ago ( Intel P35 Review ) , is already capable to support PCI express 2.0.

We hope that soon we can get a clear answer .

Talking about SLI technology support in new intel chipsets , associates obtained the following information: motherboard on base Of intel x38 can support SLI with the aid of modified drivers. This possibility was available also in chipset intel 975X. Here is the photograph of work stations motherboard on base of intel chipset , with PCI express 2.0 and SLI technology support .
