Yesterday we wrote about the incompatibility of motherboard on base of chipset intel p35 express with a number of old processors socket LGA 775.
After checking the compatibility list for the motherboard p35 platinum, P35 neo combo and P35 neo, published on MSI site , it was possible to find the hole list of incompatible processors:
- Pentium D 805 (2,66 GHz)
- Pentium 4 506 (2,66 GHz)
- Pentium of 4 511 (2,8 GHz)
- Pentium 4 516 (2,93 GHz)
- Pentium 4 517 (2,93 GHz)
- Pentium 4 519 (3,06 GHz)
- Pentium 4 524 (3,06 GHz)
- Pentium 4 505 (2,66 GHz)
- Pentium 4 515 (2,93 GHz)
- Celeron D 347 (3,06 GHz)
- Celeron D 352 (3,2 GHz)
- Celeron D 356 (3,33 GHz)
- Celeron D 360 (3,46 GHz)
- Celeron D 365 (3,6 GHz)
- Celeron D 326 (2,53 GHz)
- Celeron D 331 (2,66 GHz)
- Celeron D 336 (2,80 GHz)
- Celeron D 341 (2,93 GHz)
- Celeron D 346 (3,06 GHz)
- Celeron D 351 (3,2 GHz)
- Celeron D 355 (3,33 GHz)
From this list all celeron D, and some Prescott or Cedar mill core processor are incompatible, and also a number Of Pentium 4 and Pentium D with system bus 533 MHz.
Thus, if you plan to install your processor with 533 MHz FSB in a newly purchased P35 express, the the result is a dead system, , at least in case of MSI. Related Products :
