The 65 nm processor athlon 64 X2 3600+ (1.9 GHz) existed in two version : marking in the form ADO3600IAA5DD was mentionead on AMD official site, while version with the marking ADO3600IAA5DL was encountered in sale. Both processors were based on 65 nm core brisbane.
Both processors are actually based on one stepping G1 core brisbane, simply for their designation AMD used different symbols: DD and DL respectively.
There is no deference in TDP level . it is possible to reveal insignificant differences in core supply voltages and the required power in energy states P -State # 1, corresponding to frequency 1.8 GHz.
Processor with the suffix DL has a vcore range 1.2-1.35 v, and its close relative is satisfied by vcore in the range 1.2-1.3 v. It possible to assume that the DL- version is characterized by higher energy consumption, but this has not affected the TDP level at the default frequency 1.9 GHz.
Thus, processor with the marking ADO3600IAA5DL is neither representative of another stepping nor special version for OEM- market. Simply it has different electrical characteristics. Let us recall that at the end of this block all processors athlon 64 X2 3600+ will begin to be removed from production. Deliveries will continue before the end of the year. Related Products :
