According to Juniper Research analysts, the growing popularity of tablet computers will lead to that about 200 million users will conduct financial transactions via their mobile device. This represents approximately 19% of the total number of people who use banking services through mobile devices.
The researchers found that pay bills through mobile devices will be increasingly made by the owners of tablet PCs, the percentage of users is higher in developed countries. Transactions, such as shopping in store, are also more likely to be accomplished by tablet while the percentage of people using for this purpose desktop computers or laptops will be reduced.
Experts point out that the most popular services of mobile banking will be used in China, North America and Western Europe.
