Silicon Power Computer & Communications company , specializing in the production of drives based on flash-based memory, DRAM memory modules and external hard drives, released 2.5-inch SSD-drives two series Velox V55 and Slim S55. SSD-drives Velox V55 series have a robust case made of polished aluminum with the following dimensions: 100 ? 70 ? 9 mm, weight - 79 grams, based on SandForce controller and support Serial ATA 3.0 interface that provides up to 6 Gb / s . According to the manufacturer the maximum read speed - 550 MB / s, write - 440 MB / s. There are three models 60, 120 and 240 GB. It support TRIM, ECC, RAID and NCQ technology. SSD-drives Series Slim S55, will be also available in three models with 60, 120 and 240 GB, connected to computer via Serial ATA 3.0 interface, provides up to 6 Gb / s, support SATA 6 Gb / s interface and are designed primarily for use in the ultrabook and thin laptops. Declared maximum read speed is 550 MB / s, write speed, 400 MB / s also support NCQ, embedded system monitoring TRIM, technology SMART, ECC and Garbage Collection for load balancing between the blocks of memory for extended life. The discs have resistance to vibration at 20G and shock resistance up to 1500G Max. | ||
