In 3 June , intel company presented the processors Pentium e2xxx and Celeron 4xx, which is the cheapest processor for the architecture core. All announced models, including the last one Celeron 420 (1.6 GHz), was put on the market immediately ; however, in the official public intel Price- list they was noted only in the last days .
Situation changed only on this week - intel company decided to fix may prices reduction changes , which was planned on 22 July. Let us recall that in this week intel will present the model core 2 Duo with 1333 MHz system bus and new four core processor , and also will announces the Core 2 Duo e4500 (2.2 GHz).
Let us examine those correction, which were introduced in the public intel Price- list . Now in the Price- list there is no reference about the processor celeron D 331 (2.66 GHz):
At the same time from intel Price- list disappeared some models 90 nm and 65 nm xeon processors , which are also removed from production.
In addition appeared references about the prices of processors Pentium e2160 (1.8 GHz) and Pentium e2140 (1.6 GHz) - in parties from 1000 pieces they cost $84 and $74 respectively.
The processors celeron of 4xx on core Conroe- L were prescribed in the Price- list in the complete composition, including the model celeron 420 (1.6 GHz) for $39.
According to the geography sales, Intel made this processor with initial idea to propose it only on the growing markets.
The processors core 2 Duo e6x50 with 1333 MHz system bus on G0 stepping already began to enter in separate stores. They are cheaper than their predecessors with 1066 MHz system bus, in this case possessing higher frequencies and higher overclocking potential.
