Today we reported about AMD desire to slow down the price war with Intel. Now intel positions is the best ever , since it can release all new budget processors, preserving for them the fixed price positions, and removing previous models  . However, as reported associate with the reference to the traditional sources among motherboard producers , intel company decided to step back from the tactics accepted, after preserving the life of processor Pentium e2140 (1.6 GHz). It was previously assumed that this processor will be removed from intel Price- list after the announcement of Pentium e2180 (2.0 GHz), which is planned on 26 August this year. Only two processors in this family could exist simultaneously , occupying the price positions $84 and $74 respectively. Now, according to the new intel plans  , the price of processor Pentium e2140 (1.6 GHz) will be reduced to $71 on the nearest Monday, and on 26 August its price will descend to $64 in parties from 1000 pieces. It will continue to be present on the market. As associate explain, the task of this processor will become the competition with the removed processors athlon 64 X2 3800+ and Athlon 64 X2 3600+, which had time to fall in price to below $70. If we consider that the processor Pentium e2140 (1.6 GHz) not only will fall in price by $10 already to the end of summer, but also will get on new stepping M0, this makes it an attractive candidate for constructing the ultra cheap dual core system with certain overclock capability  .
