At the given moment hard disks with form factor 3.5 inch and (1000 Gb) volume are proposed by hitachi , Seagate and Samsung company. Now remain to see the 1000 GB hard disk from western digital . Yesterday this producer announced the hard disks caviar GP, which includes models with volume 1 TB . To compensate the long announcement preparation , western digital talked about its new to technology greenPower, which decreases the energy consumption by 4-5 W in comparison with hard disks with analogous capacity. To the end of the third quarter WD promises to begin the deliveries of hard disks series RE -Gp and AV-GP, which will exist in models with volume from 320 Gb to 1 Tb.
