Seagate Technology reported on the Drive Ultra Mobile HDD, designed specifically for use in mobile devices. Working as part of a set of Seagate Mobile Enablement Kit in conjunction with the software Seagate Dynamic Data Driver, the new drive, according to the company, provides seven times more storage capacity than the typical amount of flash memory to 64 GB with the same level of energy consumption, performance and reliability. The device size 2.5 inches has a thickness of 5 mm and weight 93g for storage capacity - 500 GB. The disc rotates at a speed of 5400 r / min. The drive features SATA 6 Gb / s. To improve performance, drive ST500LT035 is equipped with 8 GB of flash memory. According to Seagate, in energy consumption it can compete with 64 GB of flash memory installed in tablet. In standby mode, the power consumption is only 140 mW. Typical power consumption - 1.7 watts. | ||
