Samsung is planning to release two 64-bit processors: one of them will be based on computing cores licensed from ARM, another Korean engineers will develop on their own. It is known that the final decision will be compatible with ARM architecture.
Samsung is also going to actively use technology vias Through-Silicon Via (TSV) to combine processor chip and memory in a single package. Stated that performance in RAM is increased by 14% relative to LPDDR3 memory , while energy consumption is reduced by 60%. In the future, the speed improving will reaches 30%. The next year, Samsung will begin production of single-chip systems using 14-nanometer process technology FinFET.
Finally, next year, Samsung plans to launch screens with pixel density of 560 shares per inch. Thus, the resolution of five-inch panel will be 2560 x 1440 pixels. In 2015 smartphone will be released with a screens resolution of 4K, which will be another industry record.
