Apple is going to refuse the services of third-party vendors and intends to independently develop modems for iPhone.     According to the publication, in the next year, Apple will begin to develop models of cellular communication for its smartphones.  The company already generates a team of specialists who will be engaged in their development.  But production of modems will be charged by Samsung and GlobalFoundry. In the future Apple may switch to single-chip platform (SoC) with integrated communication modules.   It should be noted that now in their mobile devices, Apple uses communication modules Qualcomm.  Their release has been the Taiwanese company TSMC, specializing in the manufacture of semiconductor products.   And another Taiwanese edition - Taiwan Industrial and Commercial Times - today reported that mass production of two new models of iPhone will not start simultaneously, as previously expected, but at different times.  Thus, the version with a 4.7-inch screen will go into production in July this year, but the release of the 5.5-inch model due to manufacturing problems will start no earlier than September.
