We have reported about Nokia desire to release a smartphone with operating system Android. According to recent data, the corresponding presentation will be held on February 24, the day before the official start of Mobile World Congress 2014. Interestingly, the information on the smartphone operating system Android, also known under the codename of Normandy, was confirmed from the mouth of the head of the Indian Branch Nokia.
Normandy will be presented as a new member of Asha and will debut in the Indian market in March. Later, the unit will appear in other regions, but obviously the key to Normandy will be emerging markets. Cost of the device is unlikely to overcome the mark of $ 250.
From the hardware perspective Normandy would be like model Limua 520, one of the most affordable smartphones running Windows Phone 8. It will also feature a 4-inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, the processor with two cores and 1.2 GHz, 512 MB RAM, 4 GB of flash memory and a 5 megapixel camera. Related Products :
