During the Mobile World Congress MWC 2017 held in these days in Barcelona, MediaTek and Nokia company have announced that they will jointly develop 5G network.
MediaTek and Nokia join forces to create a new generation of mobile devices and supporting job 5G networks. They sell ready-5G system for mobile operators and their subscribers.
Now Nokia and MediaTek are actively involved in the standardization of 5G cell networks. At the beginning of 2018 they will begin to work together on a prototype 5G New Radio System. The result of the cooperation will be the introduction of 5G networks from Nokia and the appearance on the market based on MediaTek chips 5G devices support.
"Further development of 5G requires strategic cooperation. Disclosure of the full mobile communication potential , new generation capacity is only possible with the joint development of network equipment and new devices.
