The promising nehalem intel processors  , which had to appear in the middle of the second-half of the following year, will introduce many improvements in the micro-architecture. These CPU will be based on new system with three-channel DDR3 memory controller and intel system bus quickpath . Nehalem processor, known today under the code names bloomfield and Gainestown are oriented to use in servers, work stations and also high performance desktop computers. The future LGA1366 systems, built on Bloomfield/gainestown, had to use fundamentally new chipset . As reported associate, the first chipset for these CPU has the code name tylersburg. This chipset will exist in four versions and will allow to create one- and two-slot systems for Bloomfield and Gainestown with different number PCI express lines : Tylersburg-24S – 24 lines PCI express, one system bus intel quickpath; Tylersburg-24D – 24 lines PCI express, two system buses intel quickpath; Tylersburg-36S – 36 lines PCI express, one system bus intel quickpath; Tylersburg-36D – 36 lines PCI express, two system buses intel quickpath. Tylersburg chispet will include two components: traditional south bridge ICH9 or ICH10 and north bridge IOH. On the microcircuit IOH we will have the support of one or two system buses quickpath (with capacity 25.6 Gb per second), intended for chipset connection with processor, and also for the realization of PCI express lines , which depending on version IOH can be either 24 or 36. It is important that the system bus quickpath can be used not only for interconnection between IOH and CPU, but also for IOH microcircuits connection . Tylersburg will allow to create systems on base Of bloomfield with PCI express lines more than 36. This chipset Support two system buses quickpath and the two-socket systems, based in Gainestown. Since these processors also support two system buses quickpath, two-socket intel systems will at long last obtain the high-speed and effective connection between CPU. Related Products :

	I\'ve got a i7 930. I\'ve been into computers since before the Z80 chip came out and I can honestly say, this is the first time a computer has REALLY impressed me. Even though the others were good, you\'d still get video lag etc. This machine just floors it the whole time without even braking out into a sweat. I\'m in love.
