As you know, recently presented smartphone LG G3 is equipped with 5.5-inch display with resolution Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels). But the South Korean manufacturer is not going to stop and the next month promises to showcase QHD-screen diagonal of 6 inches.
According to the publication, LG Display company has created a 6-inch display panel with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Its pixel density is 491ppi vs 534ppi screen from LG G3. Presentation of the new display will be held in the conference SID Expo, which will take place in June 2014 in San Diego, USA.
It is possible that this 6-inch QHD-display will be installed in the new giant smartphone LG G Pro 3, which is expected this year. Its predecessor, LG G2 Pro, equipped with a touch screen diagonal of 5.9 inches and a working resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Besides the new QHD-screen smartphone LG is going to present the exhibition SID Expo curved OLED-panel diagonal 55, 65 and 77 inches. They will also support the Quad HD resolution and find their application in TVs. Related Products :
