Today, Intel offered to corporate customers its new series of solid state drives and DC P3600 DC P3700, made in the form of expansion cards interface with PCI-Express 3.0 x4.
Almost all modern SSDs are AHCI-devices. Such as the new Plextor M6E . The presented Intel DC P3600 and DC P3700 - SSDs work with the new protocol NVM Express (NVMe), which will replace the above-mentioned AHCI (Advanced Host Controller Interface). On assurances Intel, AHCI era ended , and now existing DC S3500 and DC S3700 latest products will be companies that support this protocol.
