In the third quarter, AMD company noted an increase in the processors deliveries capacities witch correctly designed a small increase in its own market share.

Today appeared the specific digits on the market shares for AMD and Intel in the third quarter , which refers to analytical data (IDC). First , the third quarter demonstrated a continuous increase in the processors deliveries capacities for both producers. The desire of users to purchase faster computers for the work with Windows vista and price war between processors producers stimulated high demand.

If we speak about the redistribution of market share, then AMD as a whole was possible to recapture from Intel 0,4%. Now AMD portion is 23,5% of the market, intel portion is equal to 76,3%. In the mobile sector AMD increased its portion by, 1,9% to 18,9%. In the server sector the portion of this company was increased by 0,7% to 13,9%. For the desktop segment changes were insignificant.

Analysts forecast, that high demand for processors will be preserved also in the fourth quarter. It would be desirable to hope that AMD will be able to preserve the increase tendency in this block.
