NVIDIA Company published report for the fourth quarter and entire 2008 financial year, which was completed on 27 January. The fourth quarter 2008 financial years became the block of sequential record: income reached 1,2 billion dollars, which is 37% greater than 2007 Q4 , equal to (878,9 mln. dollars ). The clean profit, was calculated employing  GAAP procedure , in the fourth quarter 2008 financial years was 257,5 mln. dollars, which 57% exceeds the value 163,5 mln. dollars, achieved in the fourth quarter 2007 financial years. Income in 2008 financial year proved to be equal to 4,1 billion dollars, which is 34% greater than  last year, equal to 3,07 billion dollars. Clean profit on GAAP in 2008 financial year reached 797,6 mln. dollars, which exceeds 2007 financial years, equal to 448,8 mln. dollars, by 78%. Thus, Nvidia company demonstrated a large increase in comparison with the past year. Among the most noticeable events in NVIDIA life was the  release of  GeForce 880 graphic processor , the first single chip chipset  with integrated graphic processor for Intel platform  - GeForce 7000 mGPU, highly productive system Tesla, and also the debut of technologies Hybrid SLI, CUDA and PureVideo HD. Nvidia companies was able to occupy the first place among the suppliers of discrete GPU  for desktop PC and notebook (according to  Mercury Research data) and the first place in  working stations  segment (according to  Jon Peddie Research data for the third quarter 2007 ).
