We already reported this week that the release of Phenom FX processors was failed (according to AMD representatives) , but here the serial processors Phenom 9xxx will come in retail channel. First Phenom FX processor will appear in the first quarter 2008, and will operate at 2.6 GHz frequency . Note that the model Phenom 9700, which supply will begin in mid-December, will operate at 2.4 GHz frequency . Thus, the first Phenom FX not only will receive the free multiplier, but it will also raise the frequency by 200 MHz . This processor will be released for Socket AM2 + and Socket F, which will serve for the platform FASN8 (same as QuadFX ). | ||
