In 1965, Gordon Moore formulated forecast for the development of semiconductor technology . According to its forecast, the number of transistors in chips will double every two years. Over the next forty years Intel company has been able to follow this principle . As transistors become small , there are various physical barriers. Intel company has overcome obstacles this year, by producing 45 nm processors . But How long Intel will be able to follow Moore's Law in the future?
Intel employees has direct relevance to the introduction of new technology standards and solutions, with the current level of science development , and in this way they will operate for at least the next ten years. Constant innovation will relegate obvious physical barriers by doubling the number of transistors in chips every two years. Given that processors in the coming years will not get more core, but they will get the integrated memory controller and graphics systems, so the forecast of Moore's Law remain very high.
