Intel Company plan to go back to the market of discrete graphics, and expects to significantly accelerate the integrated graphics solutions in 2008. Intel representatives said that the generation of Nehalem processors with integrated graphic core will accelerate the graphics only. Perhaps  specific tasks like scientific calculations will be assigned to special classes boosters like Larrabee, although the first generation of these solutions will work primarily with graphics acceleration. The new acquisition will allow Intel company to get its arsenal of advanced software tools, enhancing the efficiency of interaction of central processors and graphics chips.
