On quarterly reporting conference CEO Jerry Shen Asustek Computer defended smartphones equipped with four gigabytes of RAM. According to him, with the exception of Apple, all manufacturers of expensive smartphones now equip their products with four gigabytes of memory. The presence of such a volume of RAM no longer causes consumers surprise . According to the head of Asustek, four gigabytes of memory saves battery power . Switching between applications is also going more smoothly. Jerry Shen says that the share of versions ZenFone 2 with four gigabytes of memory is quite high in the major markets implementation: China (81%), Hong Kong (73%), France (87%), Italy (67%) and Taiwan (50%) .
