Participation in the first wave of records for processor Skylake-K Core i7-6700K seemed quite a natural phenomenon, because it has more cache capacity in the present technology and Hyper-Threading, though the difference in default frequencies in this case offset by the presence of free multiplier.  Especially noteworthy that the engineering model Core i5-6600K processor  in the hands of Smoke set record with frequency 6808 MHz. Core i5-6600K was overclocked under liquid nitrogen, even better than Core i7-6700K.   The achievement was with help of Asus ROG Absolute Zero, the motherboard of the same brand (Asus Maximus VIII Extreme) became the base for the test bench.
