South Korean company Samsung said the new processor Exynos 8 Octa, which will form the basis for next-generation mobile devices. It is created on 14-nanometer process technology FinFET.
The structure of a single-chip platform Exynos Octa 8 includes a specially designed core Samsung, allowing the processor offering high performance and low power, while the integrated graphics processor was improved 3D features. Built-LTE modem outputs the communication quality of the mobile to a new level and provides high-speed data transmission.
Features of the new single-chip platform 8 Exynos Octa (8890):
- Cores: Eight cores configuration big.LITTLE;
- Architecture: 64-bit ARMv8;
- Process technology: 14 nm FinFET;
- LTE: LTE Cat.12 support and Cat.13.
