On exhibition ceBIT 2008 were shown numerous prototypes of ultra-mobile PC (Ultra mobile computer, UMPC) and mobile Internet- devices (mobile Internet device, MID). Some used the recently announced processor intel atom, known also by Silverthorne.
Let us recall, their main advantage is the ultra low energy consumption 0,6-2,5 W, which allow to use such CPU even in the most compact portable devices.  Here is MID from ASUS production with superPI 1M result.  Atom processor frequency was 1,6 GHz, The performance will be sufficient in the majority of cases. Related Products : | ||
