This morning on the site WCCFTech there was a note about a certain motherboard with CPU socket Socket AM4, designed to Summit Ridge processors and Bristol Ridge, which will appear later this year.
The photo shows that the processor socket Socket AM4 very similar to the last AMD - Socket AM3 +. Frame for mounting the cooling system is also very similar to the one that we have seen on motherboards with Socket AM3 +, so it is possible that the old cooling system will be suitable for use on the new boards.
Motherboard itself is made in the form factor Mini-ITX. CPU power system on this board has a lot of phases, which will be useful when overclocking. For the CPU power next to the standard 24-pin connector located an 8-pin connector. The board also placed two slots DDR4 memory modules, and WCCFTech words, the board will support modules totaling up to 32 GB with a frequency up to 4133 MHz (O.C +). More we see four ports SATA III and two pin connector for connecting USB 3.0 ports. Related Products :
