Some markets are more popular among manufacturers than other countries. In fact there are many reasons. With regard to the Sony Mobile of the Japanese company, it lost interest in a number of markets, including Brazil, China, India and the United States. This is due primarily to the fact that in 2016 sales of Sony smartphones in India, China, Brazil and Indonesia will grow by only 0.3% as against 8.1 percent growth last year.
Sony , as before, will sell its smartphones in these countries, but the emphasis will shift towards countries of East Asia (including Japan), Middle East and Europe. Staying in India, China, Brazil and the US, the company will reduce the costs of marketing and promotion of their products in these markets, and then, probably, and will leave the country. Similar measures will be taken in the countries of Latin America and some Pacific regions, where Sony does not see any prospects. It is also noted that Sony wants to focus on more premium device for the price segment above $ 250-300.
All these measures should help Sony mobile business to stay afloat and maintain the position in the world market.
