Human vision is known to be zoned.  The center of the sight is seen clearly with the smallest details, even though the value of the periphery, where small details can not be seen, too, can not be discounted.  Peripheral vision catches the movement, determines the color and contours.  In some ways it saves resources of the brain.  We focus on the home and, without losing sight of everything else, to preserve the integrity of perception.  This approach can save computing resources when working with computers helmets for immersion in virtual reality, according to NVIDIA.  Why make a clear and detailed picture on the entire screen VR headset, if the user will pay attention to detail only in the direction of sight? Such an approach is not new, NVIDIA noted , but before all implemented technologies have disadvantages - artifacts, flickering and more.  The new approach that NVIDIA engineers are developing in partnership with the SMI, promises to save system resources to improve the resolution of the image in a direction of the pupils and improve the efficiency of headsets for immersive virtual reality.
