We already talked about the announcement of new phenom processors models , AMD prices reduction and replacement in notation. During this week AMD will announce the processors phenom stepping B3 . In AMD official site today appeared immediately three press releases. The most important for us is the announcement of four core processors phenom X4 stepping B3. The economical four core processor phenom X4 9100e (1.8 GHz) with TDP level not more than 65 W interests only some users. IN addition, it is based on B2 stepping . Accordingly, Phenom X4 9100e is also supplied only to computers producers . Before passing to the description of new phenom X4 models , let us rapidly examine the prices of phenom X3 and Phenom X4 9100e processors . Since they are supplied only to OEM- segment, their prices have a tentative nature:   * Phenom X3 8600 (2.3 GHz) - > $175; * Phenom X3 8400 (2.1 GHz) - > $150; * Phenom X4 9100e (1.8 GHz) - > $200. Three core processors got an attractive prices level , but here economical four cores has some price increase due to the low energy consumption level .   Prices of new phenom X4 processors will appear during 7 April, but they are already mentioned now:   In 7 April the processor phenom X4 9600 (2.3 GHz) will fall in price to $215. The model phenom X4 9550 (2.2 GHz) even now is proposed for $209. Phenom 9750 (2.4 GHz) cost also $215, there are two energy versions with TDP level not more than 95 and 125 W . The high-end processor phenom X4 9850 Black edition (2.5 GHz) has an unlocked multiplier, and it is proposed for $235 in parties from 1000 pieces.   From the designations of dual core processors athlon X2 and Athlon FX the number (64) disappeared. New models will be presented in 7 April, at the same time AMD will lower the prices of some processors athlon X2.   The characteristics of presented phenom X4 models are already noted in AMD site . Models are characterized by system bus frequency hyperTransport 3.0. For example, Phenom X4 9100e is satisfied by system bus frequency equal to 3200 MHz, for processors with 2.4 GHz frequency the system bus frequency is 3800 MHz, and only high-end processor phenom X4 9850 Black edition (2.5 GHz) works with system bus frequency 4000 MHz. Maximum temperature for Phenom X4 9100e, Phenom X4 9750 and Phenom X4 9850 Black edition is equal to 61 degree Celsius. In other processors B3 stepping this value is equal to 70 degree Celsius. Furthermore, Phenom X4 9750 (2.4 GHz) and Phenom X4 9850 Black edition (2.5 GHz) have a higher TDP level equal to 125 W. The range of cores supplies voltages is : 1.2-1.25 v.   The characteristics of processors phenom X4 9500/9550 (2.2 GHz) and Phenom X4 9600/9650 (2.3 GHz) after passage to B3 stepping did not changes. Simply, they got rid from TLB problem . It is possible to distinguish B3 stepping processors with the suffix (GH).   The processor phenom X4 9850 Black edition (2.5 GHz) (shown above) is officially released in week 10 2008 - twenty days ago.
