ADATA company sent out a press release, in which it announced preparations for the start of sales of solid-state drives on flash memory series ADATA XGP SX7000. The novelty is made in the M2 form factor of 22x80 mm size and works on the NVMe protocol, communicating with the system via the PCI-Express 3.0 interface.
As it is already known, there is no technical details about the hardware platform being used, in addition to using a certain TLC 3D V-NAND and a Silicon Motion controller. However, after studying partially retouched photos, you can understand that we have before us Silicon Motion SM2260 and Micron flash memory . The speed characteristics are also consistent with this: up to 1800 MB / s on reading operations and up to 850 MB / s on recording operations.
The novelty will be offered to buyers in volumes of 128, 256, 512 GB and 1 TB, accompanied by a branded five-year warranty (limited by the amount of data recorded, TBW - see the table in the illustration). The recommended prices are not announced. Related Products :
