As you know, the Japanese corporation Toyota recently organized its own division for the development of electric vehicles. However, in its composition so far only four people have entered, and before Toyota has repeatedly expressed its skepticism about this type of transport. However, under the pressure of government demands, which oblige large manufacturers to increase the share of electric cars by a certain period to some minimum values, even a conservative Japanese corporation was forced to start developing pure electric vehicles.
Last Saturday, Toyota Corporation admitted that it had sold the latest shares of Tesla as early as the end of 2016, as explained earlier. Previously, the Japanese automaker had about three percent of Tesla's shares, but in 2014 sold some of them. Now the capitals of Toyota and Tesla are not connected in any way. Moreover, representatives of Toyota explained that all joint developments with Tesla are stopped even before the Japanese company decided to get rid of the partner's shares. The second large auto concern, which was a shareholder of Tesla, sold its stake even earlier - it's about Daimler, who at the design stage of the Tesla Model S helped the young American company with some components and connections among the suppliers.
