Recently , we reported, that VIA company intends to present in June the processors isaiah with new architecture. Today appeared information about the name and characteristics of VIA processors isaiah.
The dimensions of nano processor packaging are equal to 21 X 21 mm, The core crystal area is approximately 63 sq. mm. In this case the nano processors will be released on 65 nm technology, and C7 processors relate to 90 nm generation :
- L2100 - > 1.8 GHz, system bus 800 MHz, TDP = 25,5 W, 1 mb cache in the second level, energy consumption in rest state 500 mW;
- L2200 - > 1.6 GHz, system bus 800 MHz, TDP = 17 W, 1 mb cache in the second level, energy consumption in rest state 100 mW;
- U2400 - > 1.3 GHz, system bus 800 MHz, TDP = 8 W, 1 mb cache in the second level, energy consumption in rest state 100 mW;
- U2500 - > 1.2 GHz, system bus 800 MHz, TDP = 6,8 W, 1 mb cache in the second level, energy consumption in rest state 100 mW;
- U2300 - > 1.0 GHz, system bus 800 MHz, TDP = 5 W, 1 mb cache in the second level, energy consumption in rest state 100 mW.
Like predecessors, VIA nano processors will support the advanced functions ( hardware data coding ) . Speed increase in comparison with VIA C7 processors will compose 1,6 - 3,2 times. VIA also declares, that nano processor at 1.6 GHz frequency will possess 1,9 times higher relationship performance and energy consumptions in comparison with celeron M processor , which works at identical frequency.
